Tasting Notes

Intense colour, with great depth and complexity from a small production.

Leathery, very tasty, with hints of black cherry compote. Decant it a fair while. The best is to come.

Chateau Les Bertrands

In the northern part of the Blaye Côtes de Bordeaux, the ninth generation of the Dubois family runs this estate. The vineyard produces a consistently excellent selection of wines, and has built up a great reputation over the years, and have been winegrowing sustainably since 1996. This one hundred hectare vineyard mainly consists of the Merlot, Cabernet, Sauvignon and Muscadelle grape varieties.

"Nine generations later, we are still present, and very proud to continue this marvelous family history with the same enthusiasm and motivation which strongly links us to our land, vines and wine"
