Georges Vigouroux
Located along the Lot River on its meanders and slopes in Cahors, in the South West, Georges Vigouroux is operated by Bertrand-Gabriel Vigouroux, who combines tradition and the modern techniques of wine making, helping to respect the malbec vines.
The Chateau Leret Monpezat domain is situated on the plateau in a meander of the Lot river between Albas and Belave. The soil is composed of clay-limestone with tertiary alluvions. Made up from 90% Malbec and 10% Merlot, the vineyard was replanted between 1965 and 1975. It is led by pest management tools, leaf removal, green harvest, controlled yield and long maturation
The Vigouroux family pride themselves on their gastronomy, sharing, well-being. Self-enjoyment and discovery, which are highlighted in their wine making.
